Protect The Birds That Belong With Sparrow-B-Gone!

This is a fantastic product. It actually keeps the sparrows away! This time I purchased some replacement lines. I think at times the bigger birds perch and snip at them, plus just exposure to some mighty big winds and storms in our area kinda beat them up. GAME CHANGER!!! I am so happy with this product; I bought 2 and now my sister is going to order some. I had flocks of house sparrows for years. Now – also switching away from corn and millet – I get a couple and no more! All the native birds have no problem with the feeders and I use nyjer seed for the native sparrows and juncos. I am a believer. This year the house sparrows tripled in number in my yard. They are visiting in hoards, driving away all of the native birds. I tried different recommended techniques to reduce their numbers, including feeding safflower seed in all the feeders, but they adapted. I even saw a Cardinal hissing at them when 4 ascended on the feeder and pushed him off. The price was a bit steep for me, but I was willing to give this a try. Within 4 days my Cardinals were using the feeder that I chose to use the SparrowBgone. A week later my beautiful Eastern Bluebirds were back to eat the mealworms! This device is worth every penny, and I just ordered a second one for my tube feeder. This product works unbelievably well. Sparrows used to mow through a full tube feeder in 8 hr but after adding the Sparrow-B-Gone the seed lasted over a week and we got to see the prettier cardinals, Junco, Tufted Titmouse, woodpeckers etc. It did take a few days for the non-Sparrows to get comfortable to the set-up. I have to say, this item is worth EVERY penny! I had tried so many things to deter the house sparrows from taking over my feeder and this was the ONLY thing that worked. When the adhesive on the original one didn’t hold for me, Ed worked with me to figure out the problem and send me a new adhesive. It’s been back up and running since and holding up well.
