Sparrow-B-Gone is a fantastic product! I bought two for two types of feeders as we now have about 150 house sparrows that live in the bushes behind my neighbor’s home. Over the years they have multiplied to where they eat every bit of food and bully the other birds away. I have had them for a week, and they are working great! While I have noticed a few of the young sparrows aren’t afraid and do fly in to eat, Ed writes in the instructions that when they grow up they will not get fly in which I can tell is true as the older ones are not getting on the feeders.) I am a believer. This year the house sparrows tripled in number in my yard. They are visiting in hoards, driving away all of the native birds. I tried different recommended techniques to reduce their numbers, including feeding safflower seed in all the feeders, but they adapted. I even saw a Cardinal hissing at them when 4 ascended on the feeder and pushed him off. The price was a bit steep for me, but I was willing to give this a try. Within 4 days my Cardinals were using the feeder that I chose to use the SparrowBgone. A week later my beautiful Eastern Bluebirds were back to eat the mealworms! This device is worth every penny, and I just ordered a second one for my tube feeder. I still have way too many house sparrows, but at least these two feeders will bring back my joy!!! — Lisa

Item exactly as described and easy to install with clear instructions. I’ve had it up for a few weeks now, and it’s stopped the swarm of house sparrows draining my feeders overnight! The wires were curly from shipping at first, but they’ve slowly straightened out with time. The house finches have adapted well and are frequent visitors at my feeders, no longer driven away by sparrows. The collared doves have also stopped coming to my feeders, which I don’t mind. We’ll see if the goldfinches adapt when they come back in the spring. I do still get the occasional brave sparrow willing to come to the feeder, but only one or two at a time, not a swarm of 20. What a perfect sparrow deterrent design. I had a similar idea a long time ago but couldn’t make it a reality, and now this awesome design is my dream come true. Thank you for making this amazing work of great design and functionality an excellent tool to protect our beloved bluebirds. I will be buying a few more to use in spring, as other bluebirds nest early in the season, and I have more than one bluebird nest on my property. — Ivvy

My wife and I love bird watching and our feeders are filled with amazing seeds that apparently the house sparrows love too lol. Unfortunately they are too aggressive, and are way too many to feed. Before this product arrived I would lose so much seed to these birds even seeds they didn’t enjoy, they’d just kick the seeds out on the ground. I no longer have this issue. They have since moved on from my feeders, and we now enjoy the other song birds as they visit. — Brandon

Love this product. I bought two initially and ordered two more. Definitely keeps the house sparrows away. I had over 100+ showing up at my feeders and now I’ve only got a handful that sit under the feeders waiting for leftovers. Highly recommend.
