Cautionary Note: If you have a wire cage around a tube feeder, this product is likely to be less effective. The reason is that the house sparrows are already accustomed to vertical wires. What our customers report is that if the cage is made out of a shiny metal wire that is similar to the cords, it may not work at all. If the cage color is black, green, or another color that different than a bare wire, it usually works fairly well, but is still not as effective as it is without the wire cage. Since we offer free returns, you might to try it and see if it works for you.
